How To Get Your Grades

Transcript Information

Transcripts are obtained from the Students Records Office, not Continuing Education. To request a copy, send a signed release requesting transcripts and a check made payable to "CSU, Chico" to:

The fees for ordering transcripts follow. Requests are processed on a first come, first served basis. Processing time can take 5-15 working days depending on the time of year. An $8.00 rush fee, in addition to the transcript fee, allows transcripts to be processed in two working days. Clearly mark these requests "rush."

Note: Teachers requesting transcripts for salary increment, please allow sufficient processing time. Your transcript shows CSU, Chico work for courses numbered 001-899. Courses numbered 800-899 do not meet degree or credential requirements and are not calculated in the Grade Point Average or as units earned.

Single Transcript- $4
Two through nine prepared at the same time- $2 each
Additional transcripts (10 or more) prepared at the same time- $1 each

Viewing Your Grades Online By Using The Campus Portal

Your grades can be viewed online through the CSC Portal going as far back as summer 2004. If you have not activated a portal account you can do so at www.csuchico.edu/stcp/portal

You will need to enter your Chico State Portal ID and date of birth to activate your account. If we have processed a completed registration request, you would have received a registration confirmation. In the upper left hand corner you will find a nine digit number, this is your Chico State ID. If you no longer have this information you may contact us at 530-898-6105.

If you did not supply RCE with your date of birth you will not have access to activate an account. If you are experiencing difficulty and do not remember if you supplied us with your date of birth, you should contact our office at 530-898-6105 so that this information can be added to the system. Once the system is updated, approximately 24 hours after you contact us, you should have access.  If you do not, please contact the Help Desk at 530-898-HELP (4357) or helpstu@csuchico.edu

If you have already created a CSC Portal account, you can log in at www.csuchico.edu and click the Portal Login link located in the lower right hand corner. This requires your Username – generally your first initial and last name and your unique Password you've already created.

Login to the portal at http://portal.csuchico.edu/cp/home/loginf .
Enter the Student Services Center
Under Academic History, click the Grades link
Select the appropriate Grading Term from the list

Grades prior to summer 2004 can be viewed at: https://cypress.csuchico.edu/alumni/login.asp

If you have not used this system before: The login ID is your Social Security Number with no dashes or spaces (e.g., 987654321, not 987-65-4321). If you have used this system before: The login ID is your Portal ID and was given to you the first time you used this system. Often, the Portal ID is your first initial and last name (e.g, jsmith for John Smith).

Login Password: If you have not used this system before: Typically, your PIN number is your six digit birthdate (e.g., 062082 for someone born on June 20, 1982). If you have used this system before: The login password was created by you the first time you used this system.
