CSU Mentor Application Instructions

Application instructions for students applying to degree completion programs offered at the University Center in Redding by California State University, Chico:

Once you have navigated to the CSUMentor.edu website ( http://www.csumentor.edu ), select the “Apply Online” tab. Next click on “Undergraduate Admission Applications”.

Select the term (semester) you would like to start your degree. If you don't have a CSU Mentor account, you will need to create one at this point.

Once you have created an account, select California State University, Chico from the list of institutions. After selecting CSU, Chico click “Start a New Application” under the institution box.

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click “Begin Application for CSU Chico”. You will be asked to select Chico's main campus or "Redding Center" from a drop-down menu. In the "Intended major" drop-down menu, scroll to the very bottom of the list to find the online or off-campus degree completion program to which you are applying. You must choose from one of the four majors offered at the Center. If you choose any other major you will not be able to submit the application.
