California Dental Practice Act
A mandatory two-hour course required by the Dental Board of California
for all dental licensees seeking renewal of their license. This course
will cover acts that are in violation of the Dental Practice Act including
utilization and scope of practice for auxiliaries, scope of practice for
dentistry, laws governing the prescribing of drugs, citations, fines,
revocation, suspension and license renewal regulations and supporting
regulations. You will receive two continuing education units in Infection
Control upon completion of this course.

Bio
Ms. Pittman has been teaching for six years. Ms. Pittman is a continuing
education provider for the Dental Board of California and teaches the California
Dental Practice Act for license renewal in addition to Infection Control
for California license renewal. Ms. Pittman is an approved trainer by the
United States Department of Labor to instruct up to 30 continuing education
hours in the GISO CFR 29, throughout the country. She also provides instruction
for the Annual Cal-OSHA bloodborne pathogen standard and all programs required
by Cal-OSHA, including Hazardous Communication, Injury & Illness Prevention
Programs, Security and Safety of Dental and Health Care Workers & Ergonomics.
She is co-owner of Sierra Office Safety with offices in California and Florida.
