Chico Online Computer Science Program
Welcome to California State University, Chico's Online Computer Science
Program. A leader in distance education for more than 30 years, CSU,
Chico has delivered high quality, computer science degree instruction
to people around the globe.
At CSU, Chico, we take pride in the high quality of our programs. Because
of faculty retirements and reassignment of remaining faculty to essential course
offerings at a time of budgetary constraint, we must make changes to the Online
Computer Science MS and BS Degree programs.
Unfortunately, admissions
to the Chico Online Computer Science MS and BS Degree programs have
been suspended. The program is scheduled to end in December 2011. Unless you have already
applied and been accepted into the program, you will not be able to matriculate
at this time.
Currently admitted students were required to complete the Intent to Complete form by Monday, February 2, 2009.
Please note that the campus-based program continues to welcome qualified
students.
Existing online courses are still available for personal development reasons, or in order to transfer the units to another institution. You must meet the prerequisites and receive permission for each enrollment. The last day to enroll in these courses will be June 30, 2011, as students are given six months to complete each course.
Email Dr. Judith Challinger at jchallinger @csuchico.edu to request permission to enroll in a course. You will need to show Dr. Challinger that you have the background and prerequisites to enroll. When she has given you permission, use our secure, online registration form at https://rce.csuchico.edu/cen/cenregasp/reg.asp.
